3CX & beroNet Look to Partner Up in VoIP Market
There's always something to be said for a partnership, especially when it's two major names in a field getting together to take advantage of each others' strengths. That seems to be exactly what's set to go on thanks to a new partnership between 3CX and beroNet, who announced a strategic partnership in the field that should give the two firms significant advantage in the field.
Under the terms of the partnership, beroNet's line of gateways will be able to work smoothly with the 3CX Phone System, thanks to automatic configuration as well as full interoperability between the two systems. Both companies are also set to offer support for each others' equipment, making the process of bringing the partnership's devices into play a smoother one for the effort.
The 3CX Phone System operates as a pure IP-PBX, according to reports, but despite this there's often still a need for bringing in other communications technologies alongside such a system. After all, there's the issue of analog fax machines, modem and other legacy connections, least cost routing mechanisms, and several others to account for. Using the beroNet gateway system, meanwhile, allows the 3CX integrator to account for all these various systems, allowing users to not only take advantage o of the particular offerings the 3CX Phone System can offer, but also allowing for all those various connection points to remain in operation. This makes installations smoother and simpler overall, and makes the 3CX / beroNet partnership more likely to get put into place.
That's a great step in general, and a great step to note ahead of the upcoming ITEXPO event, set to hit Miami January 28 – 31. While the event itself will bring a host of exhibitors along, as well as a variety of opportunities for businesses to network and make connections in the field, there will also be some significant opportunities to gain insight in the fields of communications technology and the like. In aid of that, 888VoIP will be offering a pair of sessions of the “888VoIP Complete VoIP Solutions Workshop”. One will run January 29 at 11:00 am, while the second will run the next day at 9:00 am. The workshops will run down several critical points, including the use of SIP trunking to achieve least cost routing, how to select the right IP phone device, the use of software-based PBX systems and much more.
Beyond that, the partnership of beroNet and 3CX will be a huge development for VoIP in general, as each company augments its partner's offerings. The ease of connectivity and activation, with minimal disruption as this is poised to do, should prove very welcome for users. There will be many more such developments to come in the coming months, whether it's a new partnership, a major trade show or a VoIP workshop. The VoIP industry is set to rise to a newfound prominence, and partnerships like these will make it all happen.
