Craig Easley has over 20 years of experience in the information technology and telecommunications industries with such notable companies as Nortel Networks, Bay Networks, Extreme Networks, and Actelis Networks. Craig has experience designing and launching telecommunications equipment and element management solutions for access, aggregation and core transport networks designed to meet the needs of both enterprise and service provider markets. This broad range of experience provides him with unique insight into the requirements for successfully building networking equipment that is deployed in a variety of networks and applications.

Through his participation with the Metro Ethernet Forum and IEEE 802 standards organizations he is recognized as one of the pioneers of the Carrier Ethernet industry. Craig has served 7 terms on the Metro Ethernet Forum’s (MEF) Board of Directors and is currently the Co-Chair of the Marketing Committee and is leading the MEF’s new Professional Certification initiative. He has also been a long-time participant in the IEEE and has contributed to the development of numerous telecommunications standards including Ethernet in the First Mile.

Mr. Elliott has over 35 years experience in the telecommunications and high-tech industries and has been instrumental in managing high growth companies. He began his professional career in telecommunications working for the Rochester Telephone Corporation in various operating and marketing roles and then went on to head several companies in the industry, including TIE Communications Canada where he was Chairman and CEO, Callnet Telecommunications (later Sprint Canada and now part of Rogers Communications) where he was President and CEO, and WilTel Communications Systems where he was Senior Vice President Marketing and Sales leading its 450 member telephone equipment and network sales force.

In the mid-nineties Mr. Elliott co-founded the marketing and consulting firm Quest America. When that company was later sold to USN Communications he was named COO of the parent company, and prior to its IPO he became CEO and Chairman of the Board. Upon the sale of USN to a network services provider in 2000, Mr. Elliott worked for several telecommunications and investment firms in a consulting capacity. While working as Chief Operating Officer of investment firm Hawkeye, Inc. Mr. Elliott was directly involved in establishing its acquisition strategy and in the financing, restructuring and revitalization of its acquired network and equipment operating subsidiaries.

Mr. Elliott has a Bachelors Degree and a Masters Degree in Economics from the University of Windsor and is a past officer of industry associations in Canada and the United States.

With more than 17 years in the international telecom industry, Roberto has been able to apply his skills and experience from different angles: First, from working directly with end users as a systems integrator, then as a value added & logistics stocking distributor working with a reseller network, and now from the manufacturer’s point of view, which allows him to better understand the needs and requirements of all the elements of the value chain.

SIP is THE means by which global carriers are deploying real-time communications over IP networks. Mr. Shockey is a founder and is still Co Chair of the Internet Engineering Task Force ENUM Work Group and is an author of several IETF RFC’s Active in IETF affairs since 1998 he also participated in numerous other IETF WG including FAX, SIP, SIPPING, SPEERMINT, SIMPLE and its management nominating committee NOMCOM. Having founded Xircom, Inc. in 1988 on the premise of delivering Ethernet connectivity to mobile computers, he attracted venture funding from Greylock, grew the company to 2,000 employees, and achieved revenues of $500M and a market cap in excess of $2B.

During his tenure as Chairman and CEO, Mr. Gates led Xircom into the wireless arena through partnerships and acquisitions that positioned the company to deliver mobility solutions based on IEEE 802.11, GPRS and BlueTooth technologies. He subsequently negotiated the sale of Xircom to Intel Corp. in March of 2001.
