Sean Rivers has spent the last 12 years bringing his knowledge of IP Technology and Telephony experience to the Internet industry. During Sean’s 6 years at Bandwidth.com, he has helped build retail sales channels, created and launched multiple Bandwidth.com’s product bundles and overseen the creation of Phonebooth services. Before his time at Bandwidth.com, Sean was an instrumental part of the Level 3’s hosted IP-PBX team, responsible for identifying, training, and launching new Hosted IP-PBX partners. Mr. Rivers has more than 10 years experience building Internet-based Voice solutions for businesses and has lectured all over the country on various industry related technical topics.

Chad Krantz, Executive Director of Channel Sales for Broadvox Communications, is a skilled sales and marketing executive with a deep telecommunication industry background. His vast experience with telecom hardware and networks built for the SMB and Enterprise telecommunication marketplace provides him with a keen understanding that benefits his channel partners. With over 15 years in the communications’ industry, he understands the unique issues involved with doing business successfully in this marketplace. Prior to joining Broadvox, Chad held management positions with NewSouth Communications, NuVox Communications, and Carrier Services, Inc. Chad holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Emory & Henry College and a Masters in Business Administration degree from Lenoir Rhyne University. He also holds the SSMP and SSCA SIP certifications.

Mike Coffee has served as the Chairman and CEO of Commetrex® since co-founding the Company in 1990. He is also chairman of the board at NetGen Communications and the co-chair of the SIP Forum FoIP Task Group. Previously, he served as VP, Marketing, at Innovative Technology (Roswell, GA) and VP, Marketing, at what became NMS Communications (Framingham, MA). Both of those companies were instrumental in building the computer-telephony market, its technologies and ecosystem. He holds a bachelors degree in electrical engineering from Georgia Tech.

Steve Davis is an industry veteran who oversees the Product Marketing and Management team that manages Broadvox’s innovative communications product portfolio and go-to-market strategies. In this role, Steve oversees the design, development, management and improvement of Broadvox’s and Cypress’ enterprise product line including the industry-leading hosted Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) solution, C4 IP, which has won more than 20 industry awards for marketing leadership, innovation and product of the year, as well as, the widely successful GO! SIP Trunking access alternative for small to medium-sized businesses. Prior to joining Cypress in 2005, Steve was the Senior Product Manager for IP Telephony and Network Services at Trinsic where he was responsible for the product line of facilities-based IPT product set including converged voice and data communication, VPN, firewall and access redundancy. Prior to Trinsic, he spent nine years at MCI where he held various management roles including Manager of Product Marketing Communications responsible for managing a team of communications specialists.

Steve has spoken and been a panelist at many industry conferences specializing on the topic of hosted unified communications.

Steve holds an MBA from the University of Georgia and a bachelor’s degree with a double major in Marketing and Multinational Business Operations from Florida State University.

Product Line Manager - Enterprise Media Gateways

Vince Connors is the Director of Product Management for the Value Added Services and Cloud Enabling Business Unit. Vince Connors manages the Product Management team responsible for the Enterprise Sessions Border Controllers (ESBC), Enterprise Media Gateways, Fax enabling products and TDM board level products. Vince Connors and his team are responsible for the product strategy, product roadmap, and overall product responsibility for all of the above mentioned products.

Prior to this position, Connors held positions as the Product Line Manager for the ESBC and Enterprise Media Gateways, head of the Getzville site Program Management Office, as well as manager of the Enterprise Product Line Management team for Intel prior to the sale of Intel’s Media and Signaling assets which helped to form Dialogic. Connors also held positions in the development group as a program manager and hardware development engineer for Voice Technologies Group prior to its acquisition by Intel in 2000.

Before joining Voice Technologies Group, Connors spent almost 8 years as a development engineer. Connors holds MEEE and BSEE degrees from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Max Schroeder is the Senior VP at FaxCore Inc. and is responsible for defining and managing the worldwide marketing and channel strategy for the award-winning FaxCore portfolio of products. Max has over 20 years of experience in the fax messaging, managed services and telecommunications industries. An ardent support of the fax server industry, he has been active almost since its conception in many telecommunications and fax industry associations. He was a founding member and past president of the International Computer Fax Association which was instrumental in promoting the fax server industry and the T.37 and T.38 ITU fax standards. Mr. Schroeder continues supporting the fax server industry as the Task Group Whip for the SIP Forum FoIP Interoperability Task Group. Max is a TMC Contributing Editor and has been a frequent industry speaker at domestic and international conferences including many ITEXPO events.

Jorge Otero has 15 years of experience in the areas of telecommunication, IP-telephony and security surveillance. Since 2004, Jorge has worked with Grandstream Networks and has been an active witness to the penetration of IP telephony worldwide. From the early stages in his role as Grandstream Sales Manager, Jorge has been responsible for the development of the company’s distribution channels with special focus in the Latin America region. Jorge has a BSEE from the Universidad Javeriana in Colombia and holds an MBA in Information Systems from the Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University in California.

Prior to Ingate, he served as CEO of Abrena, Inc, a business development consulting firm focused on assisting European and North American firms to expand in the United States. Previous to that, he was President and CEO of Transcept Inc., a telecommunications infrastructure company. Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master’s in Business Administration from Boston University.

The primary focus was Unified Communications, Web Based Business Enabled Applications, Contact Center and Messaging Applications, Vo/IP, and Voice Communications.

David joined Microsoft as a Lync Technology Specialist focused on driving the full adoption of Lync in the Unified Communications space. He is considered a Subject Matter expert in the Carrier/PBX, Video, and Network integration capabilities of Lync.

He is known as highly motivated individual with the expertise to develop innovative solutions leveraging Microsoft technology.

Previous positions have beeen as Sales Engineer for Avaya, Sales Engineer for Nortel Networks, Network Architect, Network Engineer, and Satellite Communications specialist. Matt Collier is Senior Vice President of Corporate Development with a background that includes extensive experience in the telecommunications and high-tech industries. Previously, he was Senior Vice President for Voice Application Services at Level 3 Communications, Inc. Prior to joining Level 3, Matt was founder and CEO of Telverse Communications, Inc., which offered the first nationally available IP Centrex service. Telverse was acquired by Level 3 in July 2003. Before founding Telverse, Matt was Vice President of Business Development and OEM Alliances at Polycom. In late 1997, Polycom acquired ViaVideo Communications, Inc., where Matt was Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Business Development.

Matt holds a B.A. from the University of Memphis, Tennessee.

Rick Garcia is a recognized thought leader within both the enterprise VoIP and carrier VoIP fields, bringing nearly 20 years of experience in senior leadership and entrepreneurial positions. While at Onvoy, Rick has worked closely with hundreds of VoIP Carriers and CLEC’s carrier customers the Onvoy product development team to identify trends and corresponding needs resulting in a customer-driven product set that meets specific needs of the wholesale market. Knowledge of the different carrier offerings provided a perched view of the success and sometimes failures of different go to market strategies.

His strengths include establishing clear business goals and corresponding KPIs and then leading cross-functional teams to implement effective programs. His technical discipline coupled with market situational awareness provides him essential skills in vetting potential acquisitions. Earlier in his career Rick held sales and sales management positions with both MCI and USWest/Qwest. Rick founded T1pricer.com, which was originally established as a lead generation engine for his MCI team and ultimately grew into an independent lead referral organization for multiple carriers connecting customer requirements, with carriers in their specific area and auto follow up utilizing CRM. T1pricer.com was later sold and Rick took the position of Director of Sales at 360Networks before joining the Onvoy / Vitelity team.
