Adam is President of Cyberlynk Network, Inc a family of companies that has been in business since 1995. Cyberlynk is the first FreePBX hosting provider approved by Schmooze Com Inc. He received his Bachelors from MSOE (Milwaukee School of Engineering) in Mechanical Engineering Technology which lead him to designing and expanding CyberLynk’s Broadband Wireless network in early 2001. Adam was one of the lead developers on CyberLynk’s FTP Hosting service offering which is now FTPhosting.com. Through the years Adam has moved up through the company in various roles including Network Engineer and Vice President. He has also negotiated and integrated over 23 hosting related acquisitions over the past 6 years. Today Adam’s passions include overseeing the management of CyberLynk’s Phoenix and Milwaukee Datacenters,developing new service offerings and managing reseller/partner relationships.

Mark Spencer founded Digium, Inc., in 1999 as Linux Support Systems while still a computer engineering student at Auburn University. When faced with the high cost of buying a PBX for the company, Spencer simply used his Linux PC and knowledge of C code to develop his own PBX. This was the beginning of the worldwide open source phenomenon known as Asterisk.As Asterisk gained in popularity, Spencer shifted his business focus from Linux support to supporting Asterisk and opening up the telecom market. Mark renamed the company Digium and transformed the fledgling upstart into the leading open source telecommunication provider in the world today.As the Chairman and CTO of Digium, Mark Spencer continues to drive the strategic vision and technology direction of the company as well as focus on the development and growth of the Asterisk Community at large.Spencer is widely regarded as the pioneer of open source telephony and gives frequent keynote addresses to large technology audiences.

Philippes interest in telecom began in the early 1990s when he worked at Hewlett Packards European Headquarters helping leading telephone companies re¬architect their Business Support Systems. For almost three decades he has worked in the Engineering industry in a range of technical consulting roles with Fortune 500 Companies and has helped grow FreePBX into the worlds most widely deployed Open Source PBX. Philippe has been involved in creating and presenting numerous technical training events on a worldwide basis and has spoken at many past Astricon developer conferences and Asterisk World. He is co-founder of the popular Open Telephony Training Seminar series focused on real word Asterisk/FreePBX technical and marketing/sales training.

Andrew Nagy

Andrew started his involvement with FreeBPX in 2009 with the creation of the Open Source Endpoint Manager and Provisioner.net Library and has slowly become one of the core developers of the FreePBX project. Andrew has also been instrumental in helping to manage the third party FreePBX repository called POSSA which contains such projects as CID Superfecta and the Hotel Style Wakeup Calls modules. Andrew strongly believes in Open Source Software and providing users and developers with proper documentation. Prior to Schmooze, Andrew worked in the entertainment industry as a sound designer/engineer and freelance computer programmer. Andrew has a BA from California State University Fullerton.
